Make sure to check out these other recent enhancements:
- new SPDRE Smart Matrix for use on Hail estimates. The SPDRE Smart Matrix adds a cost of living increase to the prices on our regular SPDRE Matrix. The increase is calculated relative to the local body labor rate. (See below for info on how to set your labor rate). In an area with a $35 local body labor rate, a panel of 1-5 dimes will pay $75, in accordance with industry prices since 2003. But as the body labor rate varies in different markets, our Smart Matrix recognizes that difference with modest increases on the panel price. At a local body labor rate of $45, for example, the Smart Matrix prices 1-5 dimes at $82. The default matrix for now is still the SPDRE matrix; you can switch to using SPDRE-Smart by scrolling to the bottom of the Job Info section on a hail estimate, tapping the matrix row, and selecting the desired choice from the pop-up list.
- new difficulty factors
- include body time and paint time on a hail estimate
- estimate a large dent from a hail estimate
- hail panel screen redesigned for easier use
- support for the larger screen of the iPhone X
The body labor rate used in the new matrix and in other places in the Sullivan PDR Estimator can be set in three places in the app. In the order of greatest precedence:
1) When you enter the insurance company info on an estimate, any labor rate set on that screen will override all others for that estimate.
2) You can also set the labor rate for each shop.
3) Lastly, on the Settings screen, you can set your default body labor rate. If the rate is not set on the shop or insurance screen, this rate will apply. The default rate is $35 per hour, so make sure to adjust this as needed. 2.8.1 02/20/2018 - minor bug fix.
